Marine Electrical Solutions Ltd was incorporated in 2004 by Ian Eatherley to meet growing customer demand for solutions to marine electrical and electronics problems, and provide high quality products to the boat owners of the Marlborough Sounds.

As leader of the team at Marine Electrical Solutions, Ian is in a solid position to provide these services to a wide range of boats. His eighteen years of experience in the industry range from owning and managing a successful marine electrical and electronics business in Bermuda to organizing major electrical refits on the superyachts of Mallorca, Spain to providing two years of professional and reliable service to the boat owners of the Sounds. Ian’s technical skills are world class and are backed up by extensive blue water practical experience.

With this service background and through professional association with the major importers and manufacturers of marine electrical and electronics products in New Zealand and overseas, Marine Electrical Solutions is able to supply and service virtually any equipment found on pleasure craft and commercial vessels.
